Add Animated Subscribe Button with Green Screen Transparency in DaVinci Resolve

hi there i want to show you how to

insert a green screen animated graphic

which in this case happens to be a

subscribe button into your video

using davinci resolve okay so here we

are in davinci resolve

i have just two things i have a video

clip

and i have the green screen subscribe

button so what we're going to do is

insert the subscribe button

into the video clip and shrink it off to

a corner okay i've already dragged down

the video clip

here and now i'm going to drag down the

subscribe button animated subscribe

button

looks like this

so the first thing we need to do is

select the subscribe animation

right there click it and then go into

the

color tab and turn on the nodes

sometimes you have to click this three

times there

right click anywhere here add alpha

output

you see a blue dot there drag this blue

dot to there now we have a channel for

alpha which is the transparency layer of

this video clip next we click this uh

dropper this picker or dropper just

select

the green area so now the green area is

selected but we want to reverse that by

clicking

this button here to reverse it

and now the green area disappears and we

see the button but there

are remaining green outlining our

graphic so we can adjust that through

here under hue saturation

and luminance let's start with adjusting

the hue let's put our pointer here till

it turns like this

arrow going sideways then start dragging

it then as we widen

the range we're capturing more of the

greens

and then now we have to adjust our

saturation so just take one of the sides

here

drag it to the left and there our

outline of green

sort of disappeared let's play it

looks pretty good so we didn't need to

adjust the luminance

at all but one step we need to do is

click this

button and then the

square and now we need to just put this

rectangle

around our our graphic we use the inside

dots

and then pull it down and just make sure

you create a rectangle around all the

action areas

of that graphic okay now we're ready to

go back to our edit page over here

then we can zoom out

making this smaller watch this let's

select that and drag it to the left

the x-axis and then now we can

reposition it

let's bring it to the right lower corner

and then now i'm going to bring it down

using the y-axis going left

to bring it down and let's play this

go over here in the timeline play

we've just added a animated subscribe

button

okay so you can use this same process

these same steps to

pretty much apply any green screen

animated graphic

onto your video in the description
