Cons

Costs will get progressively expensive if you have lots of large video files and when your bandwidth usage increases
Implementing it requires a steeper learning curve that non-techie users will find user-unfriendly
Lacks an easy to use video player that easily embeds into WordPress websites.
Lacks a video player that optimizes video delivery based on devices.

Amazon S3 is a great cloud storage service providing you reliability and speed, but it is not the easiest to work with. There are multiple steps to upload and make a video file viewable. It is easier to upload video files into Vimeo and select more advanced viewing options.

WordPress websites integrate better and easier with videos from Vimeo than Amazon S3.
