Review and Installation of Thrive Themes

install one of my favourite WordPress

plugins here's a snippet of what thrive

themes can do for you

it's such a robust set of features that

this plugin will give you it's a paid

plugin and I'm sure it is so much worth

its price

it's about $30 a month but if you pay

annually and if you do it now locking

your price I can really suggest to do it

as soon as possible before their prices

go up I have a feeling their prices will

go up based on how much features are

adding regularly like every week they're

coming out with them some new stuff

that's quite valuable to what you'll be

doing with website that's based on

selling things or an online business

thrive themes is is amazing okay when

you install WordPress it usually comes

with a free theme but you'll be quite

limited to what you can do with the free

theme that the template that your

website will look like in this case the

default theme will be or is if we go to

appearance it is 2017 so it's a nice

theme it's clean this is what it looks

like from the main page

I mean it's doable you can work with

this but it is just a template and

you're limited to just having a template

and you don't have other features

powerful features for sales and

marketing etc that thrive will give you

this is just a template a look of how

your site will be viewed so what we'll

what we will do is install thrive themes

okay right now this is the free

templates that are available and let's

go to the thrive website so thrive

themes it's a conversion focused

WordPress themes and plugins it's like

an all-in-one package and it's so worth

your money some of the products they

include with membership is thrive

architect this is your page builder sort

of like Elementor if you're familiar

with that it lets you change the way

your website looks without any coding

it's just drag-and-drop type of

development thrive leads if you're into

selling things that's important quiz

builder to give your site some

engagement with being able to ask

questions and and have yeah question and

answer polling feature for your website

thrive membership this is the what you

buy to get everything here you pay I

believe $19 a month currently don't

quote me but currently it can go up so I

would suggest you buy enough it's still

at that $19 a month paid in an annual

basis thrive ultimatum it creates a

scarcity situation for people who will

be pushed to buy when they see a

countdown clock thrive ovations which is

showing in your sales pages testimonials

in a nice beautiful way thrive comments

thrive optimize a and B testing for

landing pages that's important too

to hone in on which of your marketing

options is working better and after a

test sample you can you can use the more

effective landing pages the one that

sells more that converts more a and B

testing will do that for you

clever widgets I'm not sure what that is

but we'll get to that in the future and

thrive apprentice which is the online

course building package I mean all of

these things just one of these can cost

you $100 a month especially apprentice

if you use a third-party online course

builder you could pay more than $100 a

month easily and all of this costs $19 a

month okay so let's get into the

installation of it you'll have to first

log in I've logged in already you can

see that it says log out which is why

I'm currently logged in this is what

you'll see when you're logged in and the

first step is to download the thrive

product manager plug-in so let's do that

click on that pop-up comes it will ask

you where to install the download I've

already done it it's in my temp folder

ok now we go to your WordPress control

panel go into plugins add new and

instead of any of these you go into this

upload plug-in button and choose the

file for what you want to install and it

is

in the tent folder sorry for all my

folders here there it is you don't have

to unzip it you just take it as is as a

zip file and you can upload it as a zip

file install now

we have uploaded version 1.2 point one

unpacking the package installing the

plugin plugin installed successfully

let's activate the plug-in

it's going to take a few seconds it's

done

there it is thrive product manager and

let's go to the thrive tab where are you

product manager connect to thrive themes

calm to access your product ok login to

my account

I've clicked it and we're waiting

success your account has been

successfully connected because I was

already logged in to thrive themes

website I did not have to login again

and as soon as I click that button it

did what it needed to do and it

validated our installation so now with

the product manager you can choose which

of these thrive products you'd like to

install it doesn't install all of them

for you because it's not normal to need

all of these you probably need one two

three four of these

if you're more advanced you might need

five or six of these but the main ones

I'll be using initially would be thrive

Architect that's how you build your

beautiful webpages and elements to your

blog posts

I'll need thrive apprentice which is the

course creation package and yeah these

are going to be all useful down the road

and it comes with themes one two three

four five six seven eight nine ten ten

themes so instead of using this theme I

will use rise the rise theme by thrive

let's install this product

it's processing ready to use select the

products the selected products were

successfully installed let's go to

appearance

there's rise right now 2017 is the

active theme so this is what 2017 looks

like and it looks nice it's pretty fancy

I think this stuff I don't know what

that's called parallax or something

that's cool and all but I don't want my

site to be super super fancy I just want

it simple and what I get from the rise

theme is quite simple and what I like

about having a a team from thrive who's

aggressive who's always updating their

their products and plugging any security

holes down the road you need you know he

needs a supplier that keeps you updated

because if you use old stuff that aren't

updated there might be a security hole

and your site can get wiped out by a

hacker at some point and with with the

company that keeps up to date and has

regular updates to their themes and

products you'll be better off down the

road you'll be protected from those hack

hackers as much as possible ok I'm going

to activate rise

okay it's activated let's take a refresh

of our homepage and there we have the

rise theme it's pretty basic

I must confess but it does the job I can

change that easily I can add a menu

option over here that I can change the

colors of this I can change the footers

I can change pretty much everything so

right now we're running thrive rise

theme and you know what some some

templates some theme templates cost

about thirty fifty eighty dollars a year

and with rise this is it's almost like a

freebie I mean with all the other

options thrive gives you this is just

one of those things you get with it a

template a nice template to work with

for blogging so I believe that concludes

our installation of thrive themes which

you can have for $19 a month currently
